In 2024, COMPASS for Communities provided essential healthcare services by visiting three underserved riverside communities. Through these outreach initiatives, we conducted vision screenings, hypertension assessments, glucose testing, and additional preventative health evaluations, helping identify potential health concerns. We also educated local youth on the effects of sun damage to the eyes and distributed donated reading glasses and sunglasses across the communities.
